Side effects!?

I've got a cold. I work full time and absolutely cannot afford to take time off.

I'm due my covid jab tomorrow which i do want but am extremely stressed about side effects. I keep hearing how ill everyone feels and honestly, I'm freaking out.

Not sure what I want from this thread...

I had mine yesterday lunchtime. By mid evening I had proper chills and was mind-numbingly tired so went to bed ridiculously early. Feel lots better today although still not 100%.

Glad you were okay with yours OP.

DH had the Pfizer jab, no side effects. I had the AstraZeneca jab on Wednesday morning, was shivery then hot, ached and felt queasy Wednesday night and very tired Thursday. Fine after that.

Yes mine was AZ and I spoke to my sister who had the same.

It'll be worth it though.

Astra-Zeneca here- absolutely fine.

Sore arm for less than 24 hours. I had it in my right arm as I sleep on my left. I like sleeping more than I like writing.

I'm having my second dose on Tuesday and hoping it will just be nothing more than a sore arm again.

I had the Pfizer jab.

I had the Oxford on Thursday. Sore arm and floored with a headache Friday, still not great yesterday but ok today even if my arm does still hurt!

I had mine Thursday.
Sore arm and slight flu like symptoms the next morning. 22 hours after the jab chills and feeling tired. The next day I was fine. I found painkillers really helped.
My DC who is 22 had worse symptoms but is fine now and my DH has no symptoms.

I had the Oxford Jab yesterday morning, I was tired a few hours after but found I couldn't sleep, DH was the same. Today I'm tired and I have a sore arm but thats all.
