Pancakes - eat as you make or make a stack?

I can never seem to work this out.... do you find it easier to make a load, bring to table and eat together....

Or standing making them one by one and accept that we're not all sitting down together ?

We do savory and sweet....

I think I have great intentions but they tend to get swiped and eaten as soon as made 🤣

DH manages the squabble of four kids all self-serving sugar, fruit, syrup, jam etc while I get to sip my coffee and choose the best pancake for myself, then eat it, untainted by sticky little fingers, from the relative sanctuary of a bar stool next to the cooker.
Don’t think DH has ever clicked to this. I’m still seen as the saint for cooking the things. He hates doing it.
There are a few meals (sushi, waffles, anything on a griddle) that i relish for being able to sit at the counter while DH wrangles children...although they are getting older now so less of a treat/sanity saver.

I make two per person (me last) eat those as they are ready. And then I go for round 2 😂

I don’t mind making them but I’m dammed if I’m going to martyr myself and not have lovely pancakes for me!

It helps that we can all eat in the kitchen so no hidden away chef.
