For the uninitiated, these are my favourite verses of Ernie (I love macaroons 😄).

Now Ernie had a rival, an evil-looking man,
Called Two-Ton Ted from Teddington and he drove the baker's van.
He tempted her with his treacle tarts and his tasty wholemeal bread,
And when she seen the size of his hot meat pies it very near turned her head.

She nearly swooned at his macaroon and he said, "If you treat me right,
You'll have hot rolls every morning and crumpets every night."
He knew once she sampled his layer cake he'd have his wicked way,
And all Ernie had to offer was a pint of milk a day.

Carnage, Mr FB has been cutting his own (very fast growing) hair since the first lockdown. I have to say he’s been doing a surprisingly good job - especially for a man with Parkinson’s. Still, I keep turning him down when he offers to do mine...

My hairdresser messaged me today to say she would fit me in for an appointment soon. I had to confess that my fringe might have been cut rather short by myself and might not need cutting for a little while yet!

How fast does yours grow @Honeyroar? it’s not too long off now, 12th April is only six weeks away.

It grows fairly quickly. But I cut well over an inch off and dyed it, so I can wait a while!

An obliging black cab driver once helped me remember all the lyrics and we sang it together as I travelled home after a particularly stressful day.
