Help me find a new program supposed to start on Amazon today

Gah, I have a rare couple of days and nights off and wanted to binge watch some new program on Amazon Prime. There was a trailer on social media yesterday but I was midway through doing something and missed the name of it. It looked really interesting and was supposed to start today. I cannot find it on Amazon and it is driving me mad. I wonder if anyone might recognise it and be able to help me. The trailer started with someone asking how old they thought an attractive woman was and the person was shocked to hear the woman in question was 61. She was some sort of scientist or doctor and offered these treatments to people to look incredibly young. However, it turns out that there is something very sinister involved in those youth treatments. Sadly, I just caught fragments while responding to a call and it’s really bugging me now. Does anyone have any suggestions or knows the name of the program?

Oh I think I know what you mean, has a famous blond actress but I can’t remember her name of the show. God damn it!

Saw it on FB but it doesn't appear on my browser history and checked my timeline back for ages. I just hoped that someone else had spotted it. Do Amazon customers have different release dates across different countries? It just occurred to me that part of the day, I was on different VPN connections for work, which does alter my Google results.

Yeah that's probably it. The shows vary from country to country due to licensing. If you can remember which VPN country you were in it'd certainly narrow things down!

Just remembered that it was Scandinavian and searched again. Just found it! It did say it would be available on Amazon Prime but it's not one of the free programs but available for rent. It's called Breeder, here is the preview

Not sure if it's "Bliss" on Amazon Prime video? Saw it advertised this morning & it looks interesting anyway.

Thank you everyone for all of your suggestions. It really was driving me mad not being able to remember its title and how to find it. Might rent it tomorrow, as DH and Dc promised me a complete indulgent holiday at home after working non-stop for last few weeks. The deal is that they will do all of the housework, sort the pets and bring me food and drink, as my special treat Smile

Looks bloody terrifying!

That looks a lot scarier than I expected! Thanks for letting us know what it was :)

LizzieMacQueen · 15/02/2021 23:40

Looks good. As an aside though I don't like the way Amazon promote material then when you click into it it's a buy/rent option. I'm too tight to purchase.

2021Sunshine · 15/02/2021 23:45

@TiggeryBear bliss was awful. Honestly save yourself!

AnotherKrampus · 15/02/2021 23:57

@LizzieMacQueen Yeah, I am a bit annoyed about this too, as the promo trailer made no reference to it being only available to buy/rent only.

I’ve seen this,
I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but it’s not exactly good either.
It my opinion it just misses its mark and fails be as shocking (or interesting) as it tries to be.
This movie is very much a part of the the new sub genre of horror movie that is verging on torture porn.
It’s reminiscent of the film Martyrs, though not as good, in my opinion.

MyDcAreMarvel · 16/02/2021 11:05

That’s a low budget horror film with bad reviews. I wouldn’t bother op.

I hate having to pay for additional things on prime when I already pay for prime in the first place AngryAngry

I also hate when stuff I really am interested in, has no subtitles

It’s where Netflix and Disney are better than prime

Binglebong · 17/02/2021 22:10

How do you find out if it is free on prime or not?

LizzieMacQueen · 18/02/2021 07:10

@Binglebong

How do you find out if it is free on prime or not?
@Binglebong

There's a prime banner across the top right corner of each included with prime, movie or tv series. I don't know if it features on all prime items or just the more popular ones.

They also have a category 'free to me' which is where I usually browse for stuff to watch.

I've just bought an annual pass to Disney + because it's just about to drop in a large catalogue of less kid friendly content.

Binglebong · 18/02/2021 08:04

Thank you, I'll look out for it.

Soubriquet · 18/02/2021 12:26

Also if you click on it, it will tell you if it’s free or price per film/episode/series
