Good girls pants recommendations

Where do you get pants for little girls that are actually decent thick cotton, cover the relevant parts and they dont constantly cause wedgies?
Am I looking for the holy grail of knickers?

We've tried boden in the past which were good but I can't afford £26 for 7 pairs of pants any more and all the others seem to be thin flimsy cotton and bikini briefs so she is constantly rearranging them.

My youngest has a large (and very cute) bottom. Even going up 3 ages on size isn't quite big enough.

Only ones that have worked are from Next. Thick cotton, wide gusset, high sided, perfect for my little big bottomed one

Thanks for all your recommendations. Think we'll give Next a go and a previous poster recommended a wahm so I might get some of those too. We tried Asda and Morrison's which were cheap and cheerful but they were such flimsy cotton and the gussets so narrow that they always seem to need rearranging and when we went up a size they were all baggy so if she sat cross legged you could see everything Blush.

I think a pp saying it's your shape that causes wedgies is right because it's not a problem I have but my sister who is a very similar shape to dd does. Pants definately aren't what they used to be though as my mum used to do p.e. in the first few years at primary school in her pants and vest but now they are so skimpy you can hardly tuck a vest into them and a lot of girls wear shorts over the top when they have skirts on.

Next. Better that supermarket and M&S. I buy the styles that don't have the itchy elastic on the legs.

Hmm Maybe be careful how much you share about your child’s underwear before you post. 🤢

They had had a couple of years worth of primark and then randomly switched to H&M and they are so much better in comparison!
