I love cooking and have been taking stock of what I have in my kitchen and what I actually use. What gadgets do you own and how often do you use them? I haven't included knives/peelers/pots and pans.
I'll start:-

Pressure cooker a few times a week mostly for mash or soups
Microwave daily for defrosting and reheating batch cooked meals
slow cooker a few times a week
air fryer used daily for all sorts......great for fussy autistic dc
stick blender a few times a week for soups/sauces
1970s Kenwood Chef Mixer a few times a week for bread/pizza dough and cakes.
Magimix a few times a month, more in summer when eating more salads
Senseo Coffee Machine Used daily
toaster daily
kettle daily
toaster sandwich maker last used a few months ago and when I found it at the back of the cupboard.
popcorn maker one or twice a month

Kettle, microwave, daily
Kenwood chef vintage monster once a week/ fortnight
Hand held electric mixer once a month
Nespresso was daily but haven’t bought pods for months
Toastie maker once a year if that.
Remoska bought with the intention of using daily, used 3 times since purchasing in about 2015!

If you want to sell your Remoska, there's almost a cult following by Eriba caravan owners...gets heated!

I keep thinking I will one day be using it all the time as planned when I bought it!

Kettle - Daily
Toaster - 3/4 Weekly
Kitchen Aid - 1/2 Weekly
Food Processor - 2/3 Weekly
Stick Blender - Monthly'ish
Slow Cooker - not using it now I'm wfh, can't stand cooking smell all day
Microwave - Daily
Sandwich toaster/panini maker/Waffle iron - 7 days a week, then nothing for months then 7 days a week again and so on

I only have the kettle and kitchen aid on my work top, everything else is in an appliance cupboard

Daily or more:
Kettle (going to treat myself to a single cup boiler when I'm back to WFH in two weeks)
Microwave
Rice cooker
Tassimo (DD's hot chocolate machine, or makes coffee for guests)

More than once a week:
Kenwood stand mixer
Hand blender
Instant pot

Once a week:
Waffle iron

Once a year:
Bread maker
Raclette
George Formby grill

Daily: Kettle, Toaster and coffee machine

Several times a week: coffee grinder, microwave

Weekly: Kenwood Chef, slow cooker.

Breadmaker - about 10 times a week.
Actifry - up to 4 times a week - more in winter when I can get decent spuds. (They're not great, this year)
Food processor - anything from several times a week to once a month.
Stick blender - 1-2 times a week when I',m on a soup kick.
Toaster - constant.

PickAChew · 11/02/2021 00:33

Mcrowave also constant - DH uses it a lot but I definitely use it for lots of reheating, melting etc.

PickAChew · 11/02/2021 00:36

The kettle is a given.

I make fresh coffee in a cone.

Don't have a sandowich toaster. Afrying pan does the job.

This thread has made me totally reorganise my kitchen cupboards so that the remoska is easily accessible! Cooking our tea in it tonight!

headshoulderskneesandtoe · 11/02/2021 18:50

Thermomix. Replaces most of my kitchen appliances in one - several times a day.
Kettle, microwave and toaster - daily
Sandwich press - weekly/fortnightly.
Slow cooker - monthly, maybe even bi-monthly.

They're the only gadgets I own, so not too bad in terms of cost per use. 🤔
