Morning all. Sat in bed with my coffee. No snow here thankfully
Grey and windy
Off out for yet another walk later
And then cooking roast chicken and some apple crumble and custard
Going to light the log burner
Today seems like a day to hunker down

DH, Ddog and me still on bed I'm going to get up in a few mins have a coffee and catchup on some tv DG will make breakfast/brunch whenever he surfaces , will bring Ddog for an early walk, then light fire settle in for a lazy day, roast chicken dinner around 7 this evening glass or two of 🍷

MaverickDanger · 07/02/2021 10:27

DH & DS are not long awake. I’m feeding DS now while we watch the cricket in bed.

Probably make pancakes for brunch & might go for a walk. DH is Aussie so isn’t used to these temperatures!

We’ve got an American feast to cook up later & then planning on watching the Super Bowl in bed!

troppibambini6 · 07/02/2021 10:28

I only got up half an hour ago and I'm on cup number two on the sofa. Two youngest are watching Jurassic world for the eleventymillionth time eldest in bed and the next one down is getting dressed.
I love a lazy start to the day.
Dh is taking two youngest out for a walk down the lane to local nt place for hot chocolate and treats.
I'm going to build a desk, prep dinner then we are going for a walk this afternoon.

Skyliner001 · 07/02/2021 10:28

Gosh I love a Sunday 💚 that sounds perfect 0P! I have a similar day planned, cuddles in bed with the dog and a cup of tea, and then a walk, then lunch, then get the log burner on, the dog is going to spend the night with granny and grandpa, curl up eat a big bowl of naughty pasta and watch a film, possibly cuddle my partner too 🤗

Sparklingbrook · 07/02/2021 10:43

I have an egg and cheese McMuffin and a flat white and DH has a double sausage and egg McMuffin and an orange juice. Smile There was nobody at the drive through-result!

We debated eating in the car but we've brought it home. We are outside the Deliveroo area sadly.

KatyClaire · 07/02/2021 10:48

Sounds like a lovely day ☺️

I’m just about to have a shower after doing the early morning stint with my baby so my husband could sleep in a bit (he did the day before). Will also go for a walk later along the sea front, then going to make focaccia and risotto for tea.

DisposableGoon · 07/02/2021 10:51

We've had scrambled eggs, watching some nonsense on disney+ in our dressing gowns. Going to have baths then take the dogs out. It's a bright sunny day here.

Hobnobswantshernameback · 07/02/2021 10:54

Right arse in gear time
Load of washing on
Off to get coffee
Then a late breakfast and prepare dinner
Walk
Rugby
Wine
Dinner
That seems like a reasonable plan Grin

We got up, had coffee and breakfast, then went back to bed! Both on our phones now.

The DSs are both still sleeping and the cats are tucked up too. I need to get a shower and get on with some jobs but cba...

ForkHandlesplease · 07/02/2021 11:01

Still in 🛏. Getting up right this minute, need put a wash on, forgot I'd planned to do it. Rest of the day no change to previous plans just later than advertised Smile

whatwedontknow · 07/02/2021 11:03

I had morning coffee watching the snow fall in the garden, its very cold outside. We had planned a walk along the coast but I chickened out so I'm reading a book on the sofa while DH is out taking photos of the massive waves on the coast.

Later this afternoon I will hopefully motivate myself to exercise and I really fancy a roast dinner now.

EileenGC · 07/02/2021 11:03

I stayed in bed until almost 11 which was lovely. It's almost midday here and I haven't been up too long...
Had fry up for breakfast from last night's leftovers. Added some creme fraîche that needed to be eaten ASAP, it was disgusting and delicious at the same time Grin
It's almost -20º and super windy, so I'm watching the snow constantly move from one roof to the other... Won't be going outside with this wind, had to take some bins out earlier and it felt much colder than -20. Shame because everything is white and lovely.
The dishwasher broke last night so I have A LOT of washing up to do this morning (afternoon...?). Then I need to arrange someone coming to fix it, ironing, emails I didn't get to during the week, should probably work for 2-3 hours.
Netflix and a blanket sounds much more appealing for a cozy Sunday though...

Hangingover · 07/02/2021 11:04

chunks cup

Bread making for my neighbours today then a surf then might make some clay models. Waiting on a response from a second job interview tomorrow so feel like a cat on hot bricks.

Apart from sat in bed with a coffee, you have just described my Sunday! Dog walk, log fire lit, roast chicken and apple crumble - check, check, check!

Just going to have a coffee now and a fried egg sandwich.

Bbq1 · 07/02/2021 11:14

Very jealous of those of you who get snow even if you don't have it today. My ds is 15, we remember 2 occasions when it has really snowed since he was born. Two. Here in the North West, it very rarely snows. Looks grey outside. Ds is in the shower, getting ready for his Zoom guitar lesson, dh in bed as he works nights. Planning to short trip out to local shops at some point. I try and shop at the weekend then not all week atm. Doing a quick tidy up, shops, prob call in to see mum (in our strict Bubble, lives 3 mins walk away) sort out of paperwork if time, beef roast, and then settle down for DOI. I'm going to record the Musicals show.

MrsDThomas · 07/02/2021 11:14

I was up at 6. Love being an early riser. Went on Snowdon, just to the snow line. Prepping the veg for a lamb dinner. And i need to build a wardrobe but i think that can wait till Wednesday when im off.

Such a sunny day but bitterly cold.

HexWitch · 07/02/2021 11:17

I was up early, sorted the dogs, they're fed and happy so I've sneaked myself coffee back to bed. DCs still sleeping. It's bloody freezing but we had tons of snow last week so I'm glad it's avoided us this week! We'll tire the dogs (and ourselves) out this afternoon then I'm making a big lasagne with garlic bread to have on the sofa while we watch Harry Potter.

Sacreblue · 07/02/2021 11:21

Hello, can I join in? Caught up on the news in bed then made stew listening to Steve Wright and singing along while DC is still in bed and can’t object Grin

Very windy here and nearby building work has that green netting stuff flapping & chinking nearly all bloody night

Having a caramel popcorn flavoured coffee (thanks lidl reduced section!) and waiting for washing to finish.

I haven’t eaten yet, missed my window between meds and now have to wait til 12 Hmm at least the stew will be ready by then Smile

In bed with dd2 doing her maths. She didn't do any work on Friday so we're catching up on maths and literacy.

I have been up, put a wash on, sorted the fridge and put the Tesco shop away but it's cold so back in bed for warmth. Some housework, a roast and a film later on and that's about the limit of our plans today. No snow so no fun to be had outside in the cold.

Hobnobswantshernameback · 07/02/2021 12:02

Well I can report it's bitter here with a biting wind
The log burner may be lit soon
Time to make a start on prepping dinner
I love having the time to do it properly
One of the very few positives of lockdown

Up early, see to animals, in for coffee, gonna be a pretty normal day....

Cue phone call from farmer DH, yet another idiot dog walker miles off the footpath, trotting around in her white an oral and pink wellies, dog disappeared and she has the bloody cheek to lay into my DH about where she is and isn't allowed. How about pissing off away from livestock, putting your effing dog on the lead and learn a bit of bloody sense. Didn't like it when DH offered to trample all over her garden with his dogs running everywhere. Stupid bloody idiot, multiplied a million times over this past 12 months.

Started the day quite relaxed, now hate people again and their damn entitlement.

Hobnobswantshernameback · 07/02/2021 15:59

Fucking hell
People who treat the countryside like their playground with no respect for livestock and people's private land makes me Angry
