Failing to get my theme

Having caught up with the end of the last thread I want to sent a big hug to lovely Midge. I’m so pleased you found the strength to leave horrible, controlling ex. My lovely, kind, beautiful friend spent fifteen years with a controlling husband. Because he’d managed to isolate her from all her friends we only found out the extent of the abuse after she’d left. She said it had taken her fifteen years to leave because she was scared he’d come after them and she said she wouldn’t have been able to run holding three small children so had to wait until they were old enough to run independently
