I'm so embarrassed to admit this but Something Got Me Started by Simply Red Cheesy stuff generally makes me cringe (can't bear American R&B for this reason) and my conscious mind knows Mick Hucknall gives me the ick and, well, it's Simply Red (I'm not a fan) but fuck me that song does something odd to me! My feminist principles are actually offended by the lyrics (along with More Than Words by Extreme for the same reasons) but I hear him growl 'show me' at the beginning and my legs go to jelly
