I love these threads - they cheer me up. Hope everyone’s having a good Thursday. I had to report an incident of bullying at work ( not the first time but the first time reporting it) which has left me more upset than I anticipated. Needless to say, I was very glad to get home this afternoon. Now not working until Saturday. DD12 is pushing the boundaries. At least 3 times today she’s walked off when I’m talking to her & her general attitude is not good. Making allowances for lockdown but she needs to know that it’s not acceptable. Apparently she had a really good day until I got home!
DH is cooking tonight ( sausage pasta) & I may be having a cheeky glass or 3 of Pinot Grigio 🥂Wishing I hadn’t volunteered to put the rabbits to bed 2 nights running as it’s very wet out there. Hopefully it will stop by the time I do it! Looking forward to catching up with “ Married At First Sight Australia “ which I am hooked on. Also started watching “ The Pembrokeshire Murders”, which looks quite good.

I'm watching the football. MIL is in bed. DH is away with work. Youngest two are in bed. DS2 (11) is playing cards with the teens (all home from uni since Christmas). He should be in bed, but they're all laughing and playing a game, talking fondly about their memories of FIL (it would have been his birthday today) and I heard him whisper excitedly that he thinks I've forgotten he's not in bed yet. There's no school live lessons tomorrow so I'm going with the pretence as I'm loving hearing them all chatter so nicely.

DD is prepping her online activity for her Brownies group tomorrow night. DH is on the phone to a friend. I’m on the sofa on MN eating a red Bounty. I fancy a cuppa. I need to put some washing in soon and set the timer for tomorrow morning. Tomorrow is going to be busy at work due to tax deadline day on Sunday. We’ll have people phoning up at 5pm wanting their Tax Returns.

Lovely to read about your activities! We have had 2 littlest grandchildren here today ( 3 and a baby) so after lying on the sofas for an hour to recover before having our tea, I’m now picking bits of neutral coloured play dough out off our neutral coloured carpet. The cat has finally decided it is safe to come back in and as there is nothing I fancy watching on tv I’m doing some shredding of old paperwork we have gone through in lockdown 2/3 whatever number we are in.
Reading your descriptions of evening activity I’m so relieved I’m able to return all children before the bedtime routine however dearly I love them all!

I’m watching Married at First Sight Australia. DP is sulking in the bedroom about his tax bill he’s just received. Who knew that earning more money meant paying more tax

Got the period from hell so I had cheesy ham pasta, it's my mums recipe and just always cheers me up when I'm feeling down. Then I had a whole bag of Cadbury buttons and about 15 cups of tea. Had lovely cuddles with my kitten until he lost the plot and bit me so hard I'm now bleeding! Trying to catch up with MAFS!

I'm laid on my bed 'airing and drying' after a boiling hot bath. Dd1 and DH are watching a Marvel film downstairs. DD2 is minecrating and playing with the dog. Going to pour myself a cold glass of wine and carry on with my book while I can. The rain is so heavy outside. Nice to be in the dry. Praying the local river doesn't rise anymore either.

I’ve had a nice day and lovely walk with my toddler. I also got my call for my covid vaccine today too.
Right now I’m sat on the sofa watching the Diary of Anne Frank and considering going to bed

Homeschooling 7 yo. Caring for disabled DD. DH feels flulike and 4 of his colleagues have covid. Awaiting test result. DH confined to barracks and my DM can't come round to my bubble any more to help with DD. I'm fucked aren't I?

DD10 and I both got positive covid results yesterday. We're cuddled up on the sofa feeling crap, she's watching YouTube and I'm scrolling MN. We've had symptoms for 3 days so 7 days of isolation to go.

I'm watching a youtube video on the TV. Couple are having a house built in Japan where the cats are having walks, wall holes and climbing frames built into the house from the start.

DH is playing a game on the PC next to me. I've already played my hour of Fall Guys tonight, pushing other players off platforms has been worryingly satisfying. DH says I was just being a bit of an arsehole, LOL. I have already maxed out the season level, sooooo......

Looking online for a holiday to Turkey in sept or oct...Ds is being annoying and spraying aftershave samples around the room and I am trying to also eat !

Just been chatting with DS and DD about maths competitions which they both want to do.

Drank a few coconut cream and pineapple juices then wondered how many calories they have in then then decided not to care.

Had an e-mail from solicitors to say our house sale may have exchange and completion date next week but we've had this same message 5 times now so but at one point next week should come.

DH is making dinner. DS is playing with the bear slippers he's been sent by DH's French relatives, he's 14! I've been watching 90 day fiance and trying to home ed ASD DS rather unsuccessfully today plus sort out finances. Been looking at imaginary summer holidays in England, as that's a bit less impossible.

We had a takeaway supermarket box (Indian) earlier, and I had a lovely bath - I have the day off tomorrow so it’s my Friday. I’m on the sofa with the cat, DP is in the spare room doing something on the laptop. Going to have a glass of wine, and read my book. I wish I had a fun day off planned for tomorrow but the most excitement will be a walk in the rain!

I’ve just cleaned my fridge out ready for the online delivery tomorrow morning and just about to fold a load of washing and go to bed.
Dh is watching something really boring.
Dc are all in bed.
It’s so peaceful!

Watching news at ten and having a little brie and grapes. Had a boring day homeschooling and its been raining very hard all day. Dh painted the bathroom, didn't take as long because most of it is tiles. Excitedly, the seed potatoes arrived for the allotment so I'll start chitting them at the weekend.
