Twins currently self isolating.

DT1 is watching iPlayer on an iPad. He is obsessed with credits so he’s basically just picking programmes and watching the end of programmes over and over again. He’s found Bing.

I hate Bing and hope my toddler isn't like him (though I suspect all toddlers are a little bit) but I actually think Flop's responses are pretty good. Bing always understands and does the right thing (I think? Not watched it much) without any big drama. You'd hope he will therefore grow into a decent person

I despise Bing. I would've enjoyed the dog shit episode more but I was immediately braced for the epic whine that was to come. I have no words for Flop. What is wrong with him? Maybe he's dead inside and horribly depressed. I would be if I had to spend all day with Bing.

Nah- there are no adult animals in that world. Something very creepy is going on there- I doubt any will make it to adulthood.

I've always thought Flop is so chill because should Bing have a tantrum he would absolutely flatten him, hulk-style.

My personal theory is that Flop is the spirit of a murderer in purgatory who won't be released until he can raise Bing without losing his rag. Every time he raises his voice, he has to start over. He's been at it for several hundred years now.

I really hate how Bing's grammar is so bad and no one corrects him. I know he's supposed to be a little kid but I don't want my child to be taught to speak like a little kid, she can do that. Not that I am expecting the TV to teach my child how to speak, but you know what I mean.

Luckily my 4 year old has now developed some weird fear of Bing doing things wrong so we get to turn it over when he comes on cbeebies 😁

@FruityPolos yes!! I’m constantly having to tell my 3 year old DS that you don’t say ‘I can do it on myself,’ it’s ‘by myself’ or ‘on my own.’

I fucking hate Bing. I used to not mind him but Christ he moans so much and my DS copies him. He is always fucking grassing up Pando for doing something completely inoffensive.
