Grr just lost my whole post! Been to Pets At Home to get hay for the bunnies & popped into Aldi. DD12 is having an extremely moany day but is knuckling down to her schoolwork. If she put her energy into the work instead of trying to get out of it, she would fly! Frustrates me because she’s a really bright kid. If I homeschooled her permanently, we would kill each other! I have huge respect for friends of mine that have chosen that route & more respect than ever for teachers! It’s a beautiful crisp cold sunny day here in Cornwall so I’m going out for a walk after lunch. Tea is sorted - defrosting chicken breast fillets to serve with potatoes dauphinois & asparagus tips ( reduced to less than half price at Tesco Express last night). DH has made another superb whole meal loaf so probably going to have cheese on toast for lunch. Trying to sort out an ongoing parking dispute. I am at the legal intervention stage but absolutely determined not to pay up because I did nothing wrong! This is going back to April last year so pretty stressful. Luckily I found a lady who deals with cases like mine all the time & really knows her stuff 🙂

@SimonJT the poor lamb! Hope he improves.

I should watch It's A Sin. Love RTD, QAF was great.

Exercise class this morning, which I found even harder work than usual boo

Walked to Tesco for fruit and veg

No snow but we've had a heavy frost

S2 has an offer! Just needs to get the grades now... remote assessments this week, now obviously crucial

Working up to cleaning out the cat's litter tray as it is not very fresh smelling.

Oh the glamour!

Lovely bright but frosty day here. Had a good start cleaned the kitchen and got a load of washing done.
I met my aunt for the first time since Christmas & enjoyed a walk with her & her gorgeous dog.
Both DCs got on with their school work, DS even did pe with joe without complaining. Teen even went for a walk during her lunch break without complaint.
I made old school cornflake tart yesterday & enjoyed a slice at lunch.

Quite a positive and nice day today. Did some work this morning while ds1 did his school work. Put dinner in the slow cooker. After lunch I took ds1 and ds2 to the park. I think you realise how much the sunny weather improves everyone’s mood because we all really enjoyed being out in the sunshine. We have not long got back so was out for nearly 3 hours. Ds2 is asleep in the buggy and ds1 is chilling out on his tablet. Just going to sit down for half an hour before doing some house chores that need to be done.

Trying to stay positive today! My parents have had the vaccine (local surgery is whizzing down through the groups!) and numbers are dropping in our area, according to the BBC. A beautifully sunny day- don’t think I’m too far from you OP- so we had a run around the beach and dunes. Baby Toddler fell in the little beach stream. Big boy toddler happy with his digger. Home for lunch. Now sorting some cutting and sticking for DS. He’s really sad today- misses my parents and his pre-school. Just can’t explain to him... he wakes every day and asks if Boris says we can see our friends.

The Amazon man has just delivered the 3rd Pinch of Nom and Shagged, Married, Annoyed so I’m going to dodge the bedtime routine tonight and have a bath, glass of wine and look at my goodies!

Productive day here - watched Finding Alice and The Serpent and the last two episodes of season 2 of The Fall #winning

I have had a shower though and got dressed; I'm now sipping swigging a cherry brandy and watching the sunset with dcat1 and contemplating cleaning the kitchen 😒

@LeroyJenkinssss you are definitely allowed to cry about that ! Glad your precious stuff has been saved, how stressful

I felt a bit more positive today - cold but sunny day here. WFH and enough work to keep me motivated but not too much that I was stressed. Mood went a bit downhill in the afternoon though as boss rang to tell me that I had made a cock-up. Well, we both had really but I felt rubbish about it. DD (age 8) then went into her 'can't sit still and chatting constantly' modes and bless her, I think she just wanted attention or a friend to pay with but she was driving me bonkers!

Just about to watch Junior Bake off now and prepare some dinner and then drop off a letter that one of my DD's has written to her friends.
