Not very encouraging or positive Popsy321. Jo malone sells her shite candles for about 70 quid a pop.

Why should I be positive or encouraging? Its a non starter as a business. Im being realistic. Jo Malone built her business up over years and had huge amounts of money and investment thrown at making it successful. If the op is asking for advice on whether people prefer a candle to smell of popcorn or burnt toast, then she's not looking at rivalling JM.

That doesn't mean she won't make what she wants at craft fairs and markets and Ebay etc.
