How are only children doing?

Watching my two play wrestle and it just hit me... how the heck are one child families doing? Must be particularly tough I imagine, but I often read posts saying how much their children say they enjoy being only children, so perhaps that’s still the case?

Not great tbh. Nearly 5 DD is less angry and frustrated than lockdown 1, but very clingy, struggles to engage with online classes, and she’s talking more about her nursery that she left in March so I think there is an element of that regression going on. I’m struggling a lot too.

My ds10 has two stepbrothers, dss11 and Dss7. Normally they make me tear my hair out but they've been keeping my ds going through this so I'm thankful to them.

He also has weekly FaceTimes with a friend and they play Pokémon cards together.
