Making a lounge into a lounge/bedroom.

Has anybody else had to turn their lounge into a bedroom-come-lounge?

If so, what sofa bed do you have that is suitable for daily use?

We have three bedrooms. DS1 is 23 & autistic. He has to have his own space. DS2 is 19 & DD is 9. To this point we have shared the largest bedroom with DD.

However the time is fast approaching when she will need her own space and when sharing a room with her parents will be highly embarrassing.

We can’t afford to move - the extra bedroom is an another £150k here - and can’t extend. We are fine with making the lounge our bedroom for the next few years but would need a sofa bed which would be sturdy enough for daily use but also presentable enough as an actual sofa should we ever be allowed visitors again Grin.

Does this exist?

I would have a proper small double bed in the sitting room, put a pole up really high and make curtains so the bed cohoe be fully screened if needed. I would also buy really good quality throws and very large cushions for along the wall so the bed could look like a day bed.
