I think I'm a Thread killer

I've just been through my "Watched" list of threads. So many have died after I commented! In my mind, it's like that awkward pause after you say the wrong thing at a party and everyone drifts away to talk to someone else...

The weirdest thing, I was looking through my "watched" posts and they all seem unfinished and abandoned. I was starting to feel like I kill threads just by "watching" them then read this 😂

Why do I get the feeling this thread will run and run just because everyone wants to be crowned Official Killer of the Thread.

But if no one comes back to comment when how will be know the thread is dead? Schroedinger's Thread

I think@mumsnetHQ kills the threads when they see my name on them 

@Sparklfairy you can sit on your throne made of the bones of dead threads. Here an AIBU, there a Chat....

I'm definitely a thread killer. Actually I'm serial thread killer (I regularly killed threads back in the day on nethuns when I was a member).

I have started threads and been called a liar which was quite horrible given the content and the fact that I felt able to talk about something personal to strangers on here that I could not talk about elsewhere.

Oh well........

I do it too, I think people see my (usual, I'm on a temporary name change and can't be arsed to change back) username and run screaming from the thread. Didn't there used to be a thread just for us? Got a vague recollection of something to do with ninjas or have I dreamt that?
