Does anyone know of any over the counter snoring prevention thingies that actually work? My husband is getting worse as he gets older and i actually cried in the middle of the night yesterday because i hadn't slept for more than 20min... He's always been a snorer after drinking or on his back, but now it happens when he's stone cold sober, no matter how he's lying.

I love the man, and don't want to murder him in a fit of rage at 2am. Nose strips? Some sort of spray? Can't use earplugs because i need to be able to hear the baby.

I'm the snorer, or rather was. I have severe sleep apnoea. It's not just the snoring its not being able to concentrate, falling asleep all the time, being irritable, all due to the lack of quality sleep. I've had my cpap for years now and it's been a life saver.

I have the same. There is only one things that has worked - unfortunately short term only.
When my DP went on a ‘no carb” diet (keto or something) - I expected an improvement once he lost some weight.
I kid you not, within less than 2 weeks the snoring had improved considerably.
But as soon as he looked at pasta - the snoring came back. literally one evening he ate left over pasta ( to tidy it up) and that night he snored like an effing giant.

The diet isn’t sustainable (for us anyway). I kick home or I go to sleep in another room now, we have spare in the kids bedroom.

It’s been 10 years, and it’s been hell sometimes.
People really don’t understand how much this affects both your physical and mental health and your relationship.
