Gorgeous house, love the statues. Particularly the candle sticks in the dining room and the crocodile in the garden...

Love it ❤️👍

Autumnchill · 18/01/2021 21:19

Love it, especially the owl 🦉

cherrypie790 · 18/01/2021 21:21

We're house hunting at the moment, sadly in Gloucestershire - I'd love this. They must have spent a fortune on the interiors!

So sick of looking at houses on Rightmove, the front looks lovely then you click on the second photo - behold, yet another set of bifold doors looking out onto a postage stamp garden; grey kitchens, grey bathrooms, no bloody walls anywhere downstairs, DFS or Ikea furniture with millions of cushions (hinched, of course) and not one whiff of character. Don't people have any imagination anymore Hmm

I love it, might have to get rid of some of the ceramic animals though. Quite like the fighting hares in the garden.

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 18/01/2021 21:22

I just showed it to dh and he said it could be pur next home... until he realised it was 3 cottages.
I think its a really nice set up, the decor is neutral enough for the next owners to leave their stamp.

PerfidiousAlbion · 18/01/2021 21:23

Wow. I love it. So interesting to look at and some very expensive furniture and artworks by the looks of it.

What's that thing hanging from the kitchen ceiling?

I love the coat of arms ( ? ) on the chimney breast and the sun trap roof terrace.

lachy · 18/01/2021 21:24

I wonder if the owners would sell me those beautiful Knowle sofas 😍😍😍

Ideasplease322 · 18/01/2021 21:28

It is amazing.

I love it. Would have to tone it down for every day use, but would be amazing to stay here on holiday. Such an interesting home.

SquirrelFan · 18/01/2021 21:31

I like the snuffling dog in photo #9!

megletthesecond · 18/01/2021 21:38

It a quite nice once you look past the stuff.

unbotheredbutbewildered · 18/01/2021 21:39

Better than a house that is all grey and white.

Borderterrierpuppy · 18/01/2021 21:41

I love it too, definitely better than blaaaaand

Positivevibesonlyplease · 18/01/2021 21:42

Not my personal taste, but it looks loved and cared for. Gorgeous garden. Wish it were in my price range!

CorianderBee · 18/01/2021 21:42

God that's a lush house

MustardMitt · 18/01/2021 21:44

This is one of those houses where ‘Rodney is a part time gardener and ferret-tamer, Gillian sculpts for her own enjoyment - their budget is 1.4 million’ type houses if ever I saw one!

I quite like it (although I’d gone it some substantially if I lived there). There’s a similar house near where I live that was up for sale recently - very arty, lots of pictures and sculptures and plants. My personal favourite was the Lambanana that had been strategically placed in all shots Grin

thebabessavedme · 18/01/2021 21:48

I think its wonderful, but I think if the candles on the dining room table were lit it would set fire to the ceiling.

wibblewombat · 18/01/2021 21:49

You haven't got a link, have you? My DH loves lambananas. 😊

MustardMitt · 18/01/2021 21:50

I’m just looking through Rightmove now! I think it’s probably sold now though, this was quite a few months ago I saw it.

Diverseopinions · 18/01/2021 21:55

It was reduced in October. Seems odd, in a way, to spend so much money making it lovely - and then go.

It would make a super yoga retreat, if someone wanted to run a business doing that, and using the cottages as some of the accommodation.

BlowDryRat · 18/01/2021 21:57

I love the kung fu ghost statue about to smash through the chandelier in the kitchen. Fab house. The pool is a let-down though. Impossible shape for even mini laps!

Paperyfish · 18/01/2021 22:02

Love it- so colourful and interesting and characterful

Violinist64 · 18/01/2021 22:28

Wonderfully outrageous. The two zebras near the swimming pool. I can imagine Laurence Llewelyn Bowen fitting in very well there.

littlebetch · 18/01/2021 22:28

I love it!

hennaoj · 18/01/2021 22:36

It's a lovely house but the bedrooms are tiny and one of them is off a kitchen. I'd expect much bigger bedrooms for that money.

StopTheTrainWantToGetOff · 18/01/2021 22:47

It is 4 houses, not 1.
