Need some advice about work capability assessment

I'm currently off sick from work with complex PTSD. I also have EDS. So I applied for Universal Credit, and they've sent me out a limited capability for work form.

Can anyone give me some advice on filling it out, and also how to get hold of a tape recorder that's allowed by their rules, in case of a face to face Interview?

The complications of my two conditions mean that my physical capabilities vary widely depending on whether I'm injured and depending on what part of me is injured. And my mental health varies depending on triggers, stress, anxiety levels etc. I can't see how to answer the questions with such day to day variability

It will be a work focused interview. I have just claimed new style JSA and had my first work commitments appointment over the phone but work coach did say they can call me into a job centre for a face to face appointment. I would not go. I already have another job lined up so will only be claiming for a few weeks maximum. With ESA/ UC you will have work commitment appointments until you have been assessed as unfit for work even if handing in sick notes. the work coaches have the ability to reduce these commitments if you are unwell and it is perfectly reasonable to ask for a phone appointment too.

Thank you so much to both of your your advice is amazing I'm very new to underversal credit so dont understand it all just yet tbh. I think your right and it's for a work focused meeting I'm sure they should change it to a telephone appointment considering the circumstances.
