board game for adults, bored in lockdown..

So, DP, who I don't live with, and I have got into a rut during lockdown. We visit each other, have a meal, watch a film , natter.
He has suggested we do something different......ideas for lockdown entertainment....both in our 50's.

Try the you tube video for Ticket to ride - New York version- very simple from then. It's a great game.

We have recently bought Pointless - basically a quiz game but it’s great as it comes with an app so you get to play all of the tense music and then see the digital countdown board for your answer with all of the sound effects and light - like the TV programme.

Azul is really good for 2 players. (As is chess or backgammon). Risk is awful in general but worse with 2.

Me and (adult) DS like Cluedo, the London board game, Game of Life, Scrabble, Bananagrams (we make up our own rules for that).

You can download an online version of risk that you can play together remotely and also play online with others which is fun
