Verucca help - at my wits end with dd's!

Can anyone help at all? My 12 yr old dd's has had a verucca on her heel for the best part of 18 months. We have tried it all, the gel, banana peel, the plasters - none of it has got rid of it. I rang the gp in desperation about 5 months ago, not helpful, just said they can take a while to go. The issue is as it's on her heel, she's in quite a bit of pain and walking on her ball of her foot as can't put her foot down, which in turn is making her foot ache. We are all truly fed up with it, can anyone offer any advice?

The problem is that nothing really works until your immune system kicks in & gets rid of it & "poof" it's gone. Often this happens to be after banana skin treatment or whatever.

How old
Is your dd? I use bazooka plus the freezing treatment weekly (more than it recommends) but do the freeze while they’re asleep so they don’t pull away. Then while they’re asleep a use a small scalpel blade to cut the layers off. Have got rid of 3 kids veruccas over time this way. It super satisfying but you need a phone torch and patience 😂

We had a stubborn one used everything finally broke the top layer with filing and or needle and used pure tea tree oil Twice day when I could see I also used a sterilised needle to hook white roots out not very nice. Seemed to work very quickly from memory

My DD had one from 7 to 13. Hideous thing, looked like cauliflower. Dr was rubbish, said she'd grow out of it.
She's had a rough few years with mobility issues requiring surgery.
Less than a week after her 2nd foot bone removal surgery, the bloody verruca finally vanished. Along with 2 skin tags under her upper arm. Weird. Never came back 👍

The only thing that i found that worked are the silver nitrate sticks . I bought off Amazon

Apple cider vinegar worked on ds massive verucca, I just swabbed it on twice a day and about a week later it turned hard and black then came off with a little help.

black nail varnish got rid of my daughter's after we'd tried everything else.

Cider vinegar. Had mine for 2 years, nothing worked. Soaked some cotton wool in CV and put it on with a plaster every night for a month - gone

My son had 4 at one point that lasted months , I read his immune system needed a boost to get rid of them so gave him an actimel each morning and extra strength bazooka and they went within two weeks. You need to starve them of oxygen.

Ooh reminds me of my DD’s big one we did the treatment and duct tape method and nipping away with nail clippers at the dead skin. Eventually it started to come away and I got the nail clipper tool under it and pop the whole ball came away! So satisfying. Left a hole that soon healed to perfect skin.
I read somewhere that you have to make it a bit sore so the immune system recognises it and goes on attack.
This may be rubbish.
But the picking away at it did work.
