I used to love to have these with a Newky Brown at the pub back when I had a social life. You can't get them these days and I have been irked about it for quite some time.

Also the bar I can't remember the name of but it had nuts, cherries and I think coconut in it and was covered in chocolate and I could regularly be found walking to the garage at midnight for one.

What do you really miss?

Those pineapple jaffa cakes were vile. Of COURSE we had to try them but yuk yuk yuk. Not nice. Highly perfumed, too.

M&S did dark chocolate and cherry Jaffa cakes, they were lovely and I always check when in a shop to see if they have them. Not seen them yet.

I lived very rural as a kid. Once I had started working in the Big city (ie Worcester Grin ) well gosh blimey at the totally weird and wonderful stuff that was available. Like these Mignon Morceaus, yoghurts in M and S foodhall, premade not slightly warm from the machine that had been burbling in the kitchen were unbelievable, LURID cakes from Oliver's (might have misremembered the cafe name). Hahahaha.
Great thread !

Are there not laws against such abominations?

Worcester is still an excellent place for food of all varieties. Did you move away?

We still have a couple of Salted Caramel Twixs in the salad drawer of the fridge from lockdown #1. Nobody has been that desperate yet....

When DS 12 was a toddler he loved baked garlic bread bites. I haven't seen them in years. Also when I remember this I should be slightly less judgy about DSis feeding her toddler Pringles Blush
