Are architects critical workers?

I’ve been arguing this with my brother who thinks they are part of construction and therefore are critical workers. I don’t think they are. Any ideas?

What does critical worker status have to do with working from home or not?

It's nothing to do with working from home. I'm technically classified as a critical worker. I can and actually have been told by my employer that I have to work at home. Dh is not a critical worker. He isn't able to work from home (for health & safety reasons).

Architects aren't usually hard of thinking.

Everyone should be working from home if it is possible to do so. Including critical workers. The two things are not connected.
