So what are you doing tonight?

I’m quite enjoying tonight’s lack of FOMO. We have played Scrabble without arguing and I’m going to finish off Schitt’s Creek.

We were all going to watch “Ballon” which is an amazing film about people escaping from East Germany in a balloon they sewed themselves but everyone wandered off to do their own thing.

DD has been asleep since 7, I've watched some Bridgerton and drink fizz while DP had a bath! Then a quick dunk in his 2nd hand bath (yep gross I know!) now we are both lead on sofa watching the utter rubbish that's on tv while I get lost in the depths of Mumsnet!!! Just about to make myself a brew and debate how late I will stay up!! DD is one tomorrow!! Happy new year to you all xx

FaceTime with my DH and our besties and then curry for tea. Quite a bit of fizz. Watching Lego movie 2 whilst eating fruit pastilles. One DC has stayed downstairs watching film rather than retreat to bedroom so good evening! Other DC will come down for fireworks and bongs on TV though.....are there going to be fireworks and Big Ben this year?!!

Just got home from the local hospital where I work. Had some toast and a chocolate brownie, now going to bed. Up at 6am to go back to work. Luckily I'm not a fan of new year anyways so always volunteer to work.

I’m in bed mumsnetting. DS on a zoom quiz with mates. Dh on zoom quiz with his mates too. Dd with boyfriend in their bubble. Dogs on sofa snoring.

Update: Nation's Favourite 80's Songs on Channel 5 has spawned a Morten Harkett appreciation thread.
It’s not bad here.

The Desperate Housewives tipoff has made me feel more sanguine about facing 2021

It's funny, and I liked it. My mum enjoyed it that much she's making my dad watch it. He keeps sending me WhatsApps telling me who he things Whistledown is.

At work on a night shift. I care for the most wonderful couple and it's like my second home. We're watching movies and snacking it's lush!

Been on a Zoom call with mates - nice bath , just about to tuck into snacks - watching hootenanny with DH. DC around - we are getting over the big C so nice to have a quiet one - struggling to stay up !
