I got my 7yo a go cart. not sure of correct name. it's a hoverboard with seat attached. she has not been off it. was a big prezzie tho. £150 in black Friday sales.

Craft kits, Djeco are lovely ones. Also a My First Sewing kit.

7yo is very pleased with her Vtech secret safe diary and the 5yo is equally pleased with her notebook with a combination lock on it.

Last year when she was 6 it was her Explorer kit with binoculars, identification guide, jacket with pockets, tools for digging, compass etc.
This year at 7... She seems to love everything (except the craft kit with indecipherable instructions)

Barbies and an mp3 player, walkie talkies.

She said it was hatchimals pixies riders. I have never seen her play with that since she opened it, and it’s a piece of plastic tat. She also liked the Lol doll (hideous plastic tat), Hama beads, sylvanian family stuff and playmobil.

Snuzzle · 31/12/2020 12:28

Lol dolls were the biggest hit in my house but DD loves them and has lots already.
Other things she’s loved are pixelo, craft kits and a unicorn version of the game operation.

My 6 year old says his favourite was his recorder and matching book - parents might not thank you though!

Some great suggestions here, thank you.

Depends what your budget is?

Dd5 had a dolls house, a dance mat and then a globe she was very interested in and a children's Atlas to go with it
