For the first time I’ve made my very own mince pies and if I - and my OH say- far better than shop bought ones who knew! Well I’ve had my toast and marmalade so would be rude to ignore said mince pie screaming at me😊. Merry Christmas to all fellow mince pie lovers 🥧🥧

I had finished the mince pies supposed to be for Xmas day so had to go and get more... And I would happily eat them all day!

@ThatIsNotMyUsername

With cream or custard?

Ooh no.

Warm with slices of cheddar and apple ofc (would’ve had Stilton but none in the house, which is a travesty).

Do you think I could get away with hot cross buns at Christmas instead of mince pies? I do prefer them...

Me too. With brandy cream.

You’re fine. I have a ring doughnut with vanilla icing and sprinkles yesterday! Had to covertly eat it in the kitchen though as I’d only bought one and I knew DH would be miffed 😂

Bugger, I'm going to have a second breakfast now. Loves a mince pie, me.

Although if I put brandy cream on is it still breakfast or lunch? Hmm

I counted mine as breakfast. That means I can have another at lunchtime.

That is an excellent point.
