@GigantosaurusRex me too. I was so pleased that the comedy stood the test of time and it was as funny as I remember it.

Inbetweeners never gets old and I am really not the target audience. Also Bottom-but I love Rik Mayall.

Over lockdown 1 I started watching reaction videos on You Tube, so basically Gogglebox. There's an American guy who has been wading his way through British comedy and he really gets it. He has an infectious laugh and often cries with laughter. AfterWork reactions is his channel, I find him really uplifting watching him laugh at Catherine Tate/Inbetweeners/Peep Show to name a few.

Rewatching Benidorm with DH who has never seen any of it and keeps asking me why didn’t I tell him about it - I did, several times!

Do make sure children are in bed though as some of it a bit near the mark. All done in the best possible taste though (reference Kenny Everett) with the funniest double entendres.
Everything about it is fab.

Last night was the one where Madge and Mel have their hair done -his is a voluminous blow dry and Madge has a full set of blonde braids. How the cast keep a straight face I do not know.

PandemicPalava · 20/12/2020 04:53

We were watching Miranda earlier, the one where she is dragged round the sushi bar conveyor belt by her necklace, and we were laughing a lot. Seems extra funny when things are so sad. Dd 10 loves it
