God, I'm so tired. Anyone else?

I am just knackered! I know I'm not the only one.

3 DC: 1 almost-6, and twins almost-3. Haven't had any proper time off work since Xmas 2019 - technically had 2w leave over the summer but had meetings and deadlines most days, covid stuff. Been getting to my desk for 7am-730 recently, full day on Zoom then home to do nursery run, bedtime, bit of cleaning and back on the laptop.

I just feel like the house is a tip and there is so much to do, but I am way too tired to actually do it.

Anyone else with flat batteries?

That is so hard, Bloodywhitecat. What a great Christmas present for him. And his new parents! But amazing thing you have done. How long did you foster him for?

We spent a lot of time outside today which was nice. But seem to have spent the whole day shouting "stop hitting her" and "eat your dinner" and "put your shoes on". DH going out to Sainsbury's soon and I need to batch cook some pasta sauce as we have completely run out of food for DC.

Can see (childless) NDNs in their immaculate house with 7pm takeaway and settling in for night of TV. Not remotely jealous!! DH and I will eat when he gets back around 930...........

We had him for over a year, he was a newborn when he came and left us as a 13 month old one man, walking, havoc reeking, wrecking machine. I miss that havoc today.

Awwww. That is very difficult. My DSis will also have to give up her foster children shortly but in this case they are going back to the birth mother which is not a good thing......

@bloodywhitecat, I know you probably don't feel like it right now but your strength is amazing. What an emotional mountain you are under right now. I wish a peaceful Christmas for you and your dh x
