What is your DP getting you for Christmas?

I need some inspiration as my DH keeps asking what I want for Christmas and I can't think of anything. Budget up to about £150. I don't need clothes or perfume or jewellery. A night away seems a bit pointless at the monent and so I'm stuck. Any ideas?

A shiatsu massage chair cover.

Frenchdressing · 08/12/2020 06:11

I agree that it’s not really a present if you’ve chosen it yourself but after years of bad presents I have sent a link to a bag I like to DH.

I’m very fussy. He is a rubbish present buyer. This is the only way for us!

MysweetAudrina · 08/12/2020 06:19

I gave him a list:

Fitbit sense
New yoga mat
Weighted blanket
Neom well-being pod
Sweaty Betty clothes

I have asked for a decent pair of wellies - jeez when did l get so old?! But will def use them and hate spending money on them

Stepintochristmas2020 · 08/12/2020 06:22

A robovac, slippers and a chess board that I have asked for.
He usually picks up a surprise in the few days before Christmas too - probably a new pair of trainers

niceupthedance · 08/12/2020 06:23

Eye shadow palette

BorisandHarriet · 08/12/2020 06:25

A picture.

Pearsapiece · 08/12/2020 06:30

A puzzle board and puzzle... I'm a boring 25 year old!

YorkieTheRabbit · 08/12/2020 09:07

Elemis skincare set
Kitchenaid stand mixer which arrived last week and I’m using it already
Some other stuff has arrived but I’ve no idea what it is Xmas Smile

Stepintochristmas2020 · 08/12/2020 14:01

@Pearsapiece my evenings consist of playing scrabble (which we bought at the weekend) with my 7yo (who somehow keeps beating me) and I have asked for a chess board for xmas. I am a boring 30 year old Grin

ilovepuggies · 08/12/2020 14:16

I’m hoping for a coffee plunger and Christmas coffee.

Denim dungarees.

I need practical things like socks, pants and facial products.

Things I would like would be candles, bubble bath, cook books.

What about a membership to something?

CandleWick4 · 08/12/2020 14:24

I’ve asked for some perfume. He’s bought me other bits which I have taken in - all from Amazon so not holding my breath for anything too spectacular. I can still hope for the necklace I’ve been dropping hints for for the last 3 years can’t I? 😂

TheSexFaceOfEddieRoxy · 08/12/2020 14:33

No idea, but I know it's in a parcel under the stairs.

Stompythedinosaur · 08/12/2020 15:19

Dp is getting me a portrait of my dog dressed in military costume. It arrived yesterday and is magnificent.

Elphame · 08/12/2020 15:23

A forge I hope!. The size and shape of arriving packages makes me cautiously optimistic...

( I appreciate that it's probably not something anyone else would want!)

isseywith4vampirecats · 08/12/2020 15:27

a Radley handbag i couldnt think of anything i wanted and then spotted this one which is the 20th anniversary one in their sale and at the price its a bargain so went for that

VettiyaIruken · 08/12/2020 15:32

Mine got me a gigantic toblerone .

I've already eaten it. 🤭

CosyQueen · 08/12/2020 15:34

We chose our own presents
I’m getting some new pjs, some perfume, a new makeup bag, a couple of makeup bits and a small lush gift set.
He’s getting some PlayStation games, some sweets/chocolates and a few clothes bits that he needs anyway and we’re cheap in the Black Friday sales Grin

SurreyHillsGirl · 08/12/2020 15:36

A snowboard.. I only know this because I saw it wrapped up in the garage right at the back behind some suitcases when I was looking for Christmas decs, I knew straight away as it's a pretty distinctive shape! I haven't told him I know and am practicing my best 'happy surprise' face Xmas Wink

Although it could be an ironing board Grin

APurpleSquirrel · 08/12/2020 15:48

I gave mine a a list to choose from:
Jewellery from a couple of Etsy sellers
Aromatherapy course with Neal's Yard
Vouchers for another cosmetic course
Vouchers for The Soap Kitchen (I make soap)
Some boots/slippers/wellies from Moshulu
Ferrero Roche

LindaEllen · 08/12/2020 15:48

We're not doing presents this year. It's been so tough financially we've just agreed that it would put us under pressure we don't need.

FireUnderpants · 08/12/2020 16:16

A paintball gun and an electric drill.

NatMoz · 08/12/2020 17:02

I got a Damson fruit tree which I have planted in the garden. Came the other day.

pinkdragons · 08/12/2020 17:14

Nothing much. I've been on maternity leave so money is tighter than usual.

I'm hoping for a box of lindor, Redken shampoo/con and neom defuser refill.
It won't be all of those.

Givemestrengthorgin · 08/12/2020 21:35

Thanks everyone, some lovely pressies, big and small on the go. I had a look today and nudged him in the direction of a new insulated coffee cup and some recycled cashmere fingerless gloves. Plus a book and a box of Maltesers and I'm sorted!
