we don't have Christmas Lunch. We have a large breakfast and we eat Christmas Dinner at about 7pm. And we have turkey and ham. Not deep fried.

Tbf we don’t have our main Christmas meal at lunch either. We have a light brunch and then we eat dinner when it’s ready, usually anywhere from 4 to 6 pm.

We have Turkey and gammon usually on Christmas Day. I only like chicken or Turkey but I'm equally happy with the vegetables and gravy. Boxing Day is a mixed meat kind of thing. I wouldn't panic if we couldnt get a Turkey though as the rest of the family would eat anything.

One year we had Christmas in Australia with DH's extended family. It was a massive seafood buffet- prawns, scallops, white fish of some sort, lobster. Unbelievably good.

We do not do turkey as I never mastered it. So we either have goose or chicken.
