What words/actions are enough for you to cut someone off

Just that really. A family member maybe.

I always think : if a friend spoke to me like this, would I accept it? Would I still want to be friends with them?
Tell the person how rude/unkind they were, let them have the chance to apologise, if they do, accept the apology and tell them you will not put up with being spoken to like that. If they do not apologise (or start trying to justify/excuse what they said) then don’t bother with them.

It’s hard to know what’s best without knowing what was said. If it was really nasty and cruel then cut them dead immediately
