I can't sleep because every time I breathe in, I start coughing. Argh Angry
Not a chesty cough but dry and my chest is tight too. Any miracle home remedies?
Not covid, been tested

Marmalade dissolved in a little hot water is apparently good as a homemade drug-free cough medicine.

Elderberry surup and eldeflrower cordial also meant to be very good for coughs and any chest ailments

This sounds mad but a friend told me that if you rub Vicks or another menthol rub onto the soles of your feet it stops the coughing. (And on your chest too.) I persuaded very sceptical teen DS try it when he was awake all night with a cough and it worked.

I hope you're soon feeling better. It's worrying but remember Covid treatments have improved dramatically since the start of the pandemic.
There's an advice page here.
Try and get as much rest as you can.

If i have a cough thats stopping me from sleeping i take a generous helping of liquid night nurse.

Lets me sleep and is nice and soothing on the throat as well.

Sherry if you are stuck and it's the dry irritating type that kicks off when you lie down. It's very syrupy Wink
