An off-topic, are there any good quality sites with top x songs about y? So top 200 90s rock etc etc? Or do I just need to spend five hours trawling Spotify or Apple Music? Or Tidal?

Are you looking for songs on a theme, steve? (To post here?)

I use google. So, if an idea for a theme comes to me, I'll google 'songs about xxx'. You often have to google around the theme. So at Halloween, I was googling songs about the devil, songs about witches, etc.
If you're asking because you want playlists to listen to, this advice isn't very helpful!

@SimplySteveRedux - not quite what you asked but do you listen to 6 Music, especially at the weekend? It's got such a good mix of genres, some old some new music. It's my weekend soundtrack ..

I think there should be some extra points for those of us who came up with our witchy, devil etc themed songs off the top of our heads !!

I've got a theme idea in my head right now, shiny. I can think of 4 songs on that theme. So I will google to see if there are more. That's usually how I do it 🤷‍♀️
And I almost always google before I up lyrics up in case I get the exact words wrong

Oh I definitely google the lyrics - I've learned so much doing this between what I thought the lyrics were to what the actual lyrics are
