So since someone is being good, this should be a relatively simple theme. I am saving the other one just in case.

the questions run to deep for such a simple man 70s

3.	 Where does it go from here, is it down to the lake I fear 80s

4.	Coast to coast la to Chicago western Male, 

across the north and south, to key largo, love for sale, 80s

5.	When routine bites hard and ambitions are low, 

and resentment rides high but emotions won’t grow 80s

Is the down to the lake one Fantastic Day by Haircut 100?

The routines bite one is Joy Division - Love will tear us apart.

The coast to coast one is Sade’s Smooth Operator.

The other two are correct

1 is take it to the limit, the eagles.
2 is the logical song. Supertramp
3 is live plus 1, haircut 100
4 is sade, smooth operator
5 is love will tear us apart.

No idea at all as to the theme. But I am quite stupid...
