Having Avery heavy period, soaking tirht though pads even when wearing three at once , and woke up feeling odd . Incredibly dizzy , dry mouth, headache and can’t sit up much . Think dehydrated . Had horrible nightmares was being shot then o think hallicating when woke up . In a panic a bit . Very sore too and can’t have more pain killers . Managed a glass of water but scared to go back to sleep . Not sure what to do .

Are you OK OP?

I’m OK, I’m so sorry only just realised I posted this . I’m so sorry, I must have fallen back asleep - my mum did come through I remember as I fell over in the bathroom Hmm ...

Think I was/am a bit dehydrated . I’m also on antidepressant that makes me sleepy, strong painkillers and beta blockers so suspect blood pressure was a bit too low .

Still bleeding heavy this morning but managed to get a shower, downstairs and away to try and eat something .

Previous experience suggests that GP won’t do much at all but will try phoning them . Last time was told this is normal for women - to be in agony and bedridden - but not so sure . I’m wearing three maxi pads and still leaking .

@tiredofthistoday, that is not normal!!! I would definitely seek further medical opinion, especially if it’s making you fall over.

No that’s not normal. I think you could do with speaking to a GP

ememem84 · 04/11/2020 18:10

This is absolutely not normal. Push for more attention. Go and leak all over the surgery. They’ll soon take you seriously.

Disclaimer. Maybe don’t do that. But sometimes a big statement gets attention.

Another one saying you should look for medical attention. And don’t take no for an answer.
There seem to have been a couple of similar threads lately, have you had this before/ is it a continuation??
