why can you not tell the ward that, surely the ward is the only place TO tell Confused

if someone on mumsnet said ‘yes I work there!’ what would your next step be?!

Crystalknobs · 31/10/2020 23:18

They are only allowing one designated visitor full stop.

I just wanted to know what the consequences would be if they found out dd’s sister visited , pretending to be dd.

Why does she need to pretend to be your dd to visit? I don’t think anyone can stop her visiting.

ZombieAttack · 31/10/2020 23:29

Unless he doesn’t want her to of course.

Ginger1982 · 31/10/2020 23:38

How old is your DD?

Crystalknobs · 31/10/2020 23:41

The hospital are only allowing one designated person to visit. They don’t allow Sue on one day , Fred on another , it’s literally one person. Dd’s Sister wants to try and break the rules by pretending to be dd as dd is the designated visitor.

She’s 22 , next of kin and has a lot on her plate since her dad was admitted.

Contact the ward your dd can create a password that only she and the ward staff know. They will then only give information on the phone or admit anyone to the ward who knows the password

The one visitor rule is to protect patients from covid. The consequence might be passing on covid to other poorly patients, leading to a ban on ALL visitors.
