You were right about the Marks emails too. Thank you! I swear they have changed the terms though and that you used to have to agree to the emails. I can be annoyed about something else now.

Zumba online. I clicked on a few classes to see how much they cost, but didn't actually book any. Now I get emails after every class would have happened, asking me how it was, with no way to unsubscribe

Brand Alley who wouldn't even let me browse their website without putting my email address in. I had to unsubscribe 3 times before the twice daily emails stopped. I didnt even buy anything!

Space NK, H&M and Next - sod off!! Also Debenhams, like the OP. Really puts me off buying from these places online or in store.

M&S is absolutely the worst. I follow the unsubscribe link as HibiscusNell did above, click on "Yes, please unsubscribe me", and then, without exception, get an error message inviting me to try again later.

After several attempts, over weeks, I gave up and created a rule in my mailbox to send M&S marketing emails directly to the bin.

If any company sends me more than one marketing email a week, I always unsubscribe. I don't understand why they think constantly spamming us will endear us to them and their products.
