Is anyone else slowly stockpiling food to not leave the house during the worst of the pandemic?

I have not, but am thinking I should not due to shortage but to shield myself.

Prepping for Brexit, Covid and snow here.
3 freezers, tins, packets, loo roll, cleaning stuff, toiletries and medicines.
Also making sure DS has clothes and shoes for the next year in bigger sizes. Plenty of stuff to read and do in the house. A Lego stash. Nearly finished my Christmas shopping.
Just being ready to hunker down at home as much as possible this winter.

@julietmanchester

I'm trying to keep a 2 week supply of food, yet I don't really know where to start.

I normally buy fresh and some tins, so this will be an oddly new experience. I am needing to shield this winter so I will get started on a list.

Do you have a freezer? Also build up a storecupboard of things like canned pulses, tomatoes, rice, pasta etc.

Some fresh things keep for well over a week. Eg if you have things like peppers and onions, also chorizo, you can make something like paella. Also veg like potatoes, carrots and onions.

If you have freezer space, freeze your meat in meal sized portions. Some frozen veg. Again if you have meat in the freezer, you can make a roast dinner with your potatoes carrots and frozen veg. Chilli spag bol and lasagne, cottage pie, keema and potatoes if you have mince. Maybe occasionally have something like egg and chips. Eggs keep for about 3 weeks minimum.

Would a fruit and veg box delivery be something you would use?
