Dd1 has a sleepover yesterday for her birthday so I’m now dealing with the fallout of a 10 and 6 year old that got 4 hours sleep Sad
They are busy on phones and youtube whilst I upcycle some units for ds1 (due in 3 months) and finish buying some baby bits!

lucysmam · 25/10/2020 16:07

I'm hiding in the kitchen listening to the radio & making a roast. Might pour myself a Wine. I was trying to crochet a Minecraft bee but dd2 keeps bouncing downstairs for a chat & breaking my concentration.

Dd1 is in the shower -needs telling to get out soon because it's leaking again .

Dd2 is rummaging through a box of Halloween decorations (hence coming for a chat & to show me what there is). We'll put some of them up inside this week.

Relaxing on the sofa ... real church service this morning for the first time since lockdown which was lovely, followed by coffee with my elderly parents & then a bit of voluntary work. Made a lasagne for dinner ... DH out playing golf so enjoying the peace and quiet.

Isolating. Bored. Need to make a start on dinner for the children, their body clocks are telling them its almost dinnertime. They have played well today and DD has done reading, writing and a Draw With Rob but they have also watched Frozen and are getting stuck into Frozen 2

MonsterMashh · 25/10/2020 16:08

Lying in bed after testing positive for covid. Want to get up as have lots to do but just don't have the energy Sad

babyguffingtonstrikesagain · 25/10/2020 16:09

Helping dc to pack for their 2 nights away with dh (yay!)
Choosing fixtures and fittings for our new en suite and utility room. Lots of measuring and reviewing the budget = the cheapest and smallest sinks/shower we can get!

MrsJonesAndMe · 25/10/2020 16:14

I have cleaned and done washing and then a lot of sitting on here to reward myself and now still on here in between prepping and cooking our Sunday dinner....but not hungry after all the chocolates and toasted marshmallows oops

wendz86 · 25/10/2020 16:14

We are on day 3 of self isolation. I've been reading, dd1 is playing among us , dd2 is watching the little mermaid and playing with dolls.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 25/10/2020 16:20

I am on the settee, just finished a book. Doing pie and mash for tea but that is very quick and needs minimal prep. Been food shopping this morning but a hailstorm hit as we were loading the car up, in between heavy rain showers, so my planned gardening can wait for another day.

mamaduckbone · 25/10/2020 18:00

We had rugby in the sunshine this morning with the dcs. We met my mum for a walk this afternoon but got rained on so we came home, put PJs on and we've been watching Strike on iplayer with a glass of red whilst the roast is cooking and the dcs play PS4.
Sadly ds1 has now ventured back downstairs to shatter our peace so I've been testing him in French vocab. He hates French with a passion so I'm trying to be supportive.

LaMadrilena · 25/10/2020 18:11

Sleeping, watching crap TV and occasionally vomiting (10w pregnant).

waitrosetrollydolly · 25/10/2020 18:24

On sofa listening to countryfile on tv, while MNing . Dd on a chair staring at her phone grinning. DH on other sofa checking is work emails and diary for tomorrow. All very civilised .

Serena1977 · 25/10/2020 18:31

Dh is at work 9.30am till 7.30 pm. I've cleaned all the upstairs including the window frames with a toothbrush!
Helped dc do homework. Cleaned dd dolls house for selling on but ds cried and said he wanted to keep it.
Had a lovely bath. Bathtime shortly for dc who want a relaxing bath like mummy had!
Pasta for tea when dh comes home.
