Back to GMT tomorrow. Don't forget.

Well, I’d forgotten so thanks OP.

AnyFucker · 24/10/2020 23:06

@ForeverBubblegum have you been living under a rock for the last 7 months ? Grin

ForeverBubblegum · 24/10/2020 23:22

True, covid restrictions would mess up the plan, but life got there years earlier. The clocks go back excitement has weirdly been left behind though.

acerred · 25/10/2020 01:59

Now it's 1.58am, have the clocks changed or are they about to change?! Just woken up and have no idea Grin

I was wondering the same thing whilst sat on DD1’s floor, waiting for her to go back to sleep.
namechangefail2020 · 25/10/2020 03:07

Ah thanks I didn't know, my newborn seems to have got the memo too she's late for a feed by an hour 😂

Ontheboardwalk · 25/10/2020 03:59

Something work wise had to be paused for clock change then restarted.

Normal time I’d be done by 1 am. All this spring forward fall back and time it takes to make change and deal with it means I’m still awake now

Far too much hassle

AlmaBaldwin · 25/10/2020 04:03

I spent my extra hour watching rebecca on Netflix.

RosieLemonade · 25/10/2020 05:13

@ForeverBubblegum

I love the clocks going back, it makes me feel nostalgic about going for a big night outas an (underage) teenager, because you got an extra hour before the nightclub closed at 2am.

Somewhat ruined by the fact that they can stay open as long as they like now anyway; I haven't been to a nightclub in over a decade; and the last time I did go out, I was tired by 10.30

They can’t open at all now 😂
DisgruntledPelican · 25/10/2020 05:33

Baby DS was awake an hour earlier, like clockwork 😂 I’m now sitting on the floor by his cot pretending I’m not here, listening to him kicking the mattress, after failing to soothe him back down

Enjoy the morning, everyone Brew

Bwlch · 25/10/2020 06:06

Ah! That explains why I am wide awake at 6 am.

bibbitybobbitycatz · 25/10/2020 06:10

I didn't realise! Thanks OP.

lemondrizzlebake · 25/10/2020 06:10

So would it usually be 7:10 now?

bibbitybobbitycatz · 25/10/2020 06:10

Me too.

Morning Grin

pastandpresent · 25/10/2020 06:30

I forgot. And look what time it is. On Sunday morning. Hmm

pumpkinpie01 · 25/10/2020 06:51

@Nomnomarrgh so true , my dh is on a night shift it's boring there at night anyway so to do an extra hour and not get paid for it is not great ( hour off in lieu)

Brahumbug · 25/10/2020 07:39

PicsinRed@

"Car clock back to being nonsense then. 6 months of utter madness."

It's only 5 months not 6Grin

thismeansnothing · 25/10/2020 07:41

Clocks going back while on a Nightshift. Literally longest night ever. 😩

EatPrayYoga · 25/10/2020 08:44

Thanks nosswith

It hasn't occurred to me that if you are working you would have to work an extra hour!
