Passport applications

Has anyone applied for a first U.K. passport recently (or a renewal)? If so, please could you tell me how long it took to come through?

First child passport this summer for ds, took a grand total of... 4 months! It just arrived. Ffs.

Submitted ours last Monday and my husband got his on Monday. Mine is a name change and new passport which I expected to take months and it’s out for delivery now so I think the timeframes have been very speedy.

DDs overseas renewal sent in at end of Aug, onto system on 7.9 - no further news.....

Well it has finally arrived! It was sent via post office check and send on August 17th, and arrived yesterday.
DD has got £11.43 left, so it is literally in the nick of time!
Halle-fucking -lujah!

Finally got ours last week too - after 10 weeks...... and to cap it all, it's bloody blue 😢
