Help! Awful Smell

There's a really awful smell in our bedroom, which I can only smell when I am lying down in bed...

It sort of smells like rotting flesh / used tampon / sanitary pad but I cannot find anything...

Making me ill (and crazy) does anyone have any ideas please to what it may be?

I am also glad it wasn't something dead. I really wasn't sure how to go about checking behind the chimney cavity or walls!!

No, he has a deadline - it is fast approaching. The packing has started...

He has a place to rent from a couple of weeks time and I am really hoping he moves in from the start date rather than a couple of weeks after.

weve had a dead rat under floorboards and one in the attic it was horrendous, you can buy bags off amazon to get rid of smells

Move the bed and then lay on the floor if u can smell it still , it;s got to be under your floor boards. And if it is a dead rat the smell will go away in a couple of weeks.

I read somewhere once a woman had put prawns in her partners curtain poles when he asked her to leave. Maybe he's done something like this to you. X

Oh dear, all the posters who didn't RTFT.

OP had found the source and has removed it from the room, the room now smells better.
