Where is all the tomato purée?!

Just that really. Been to 3 different supermarkets & had a shop delivered, no tomato purée to be had anywhere! Not even the little tins.

Anyone else or just my little corner of Essex?

Plenty here in SE Wales but I can't buy the no drain tinned tuna anymore which is traumatising me!

Same here op! No t puree! I had to buy sun dried instead.

Shelves all well stocked in general, sainsbury and waitrose so sign of panic buying.

I’m in the north west and our Tesco keeps running out of it for weeks at a time!!!

None round me either! A couple of weeks ago I bought the last one on the shelf and it was the really expensive one that was left.

Hmm it would seem it’s very hit & miss! I usually have one open & a spare in the cupboard but I’m half way through that now.

I might try some of the smaller local shops & international supermarket to see if I have any joy there.

Sorry, I bought it all. I was doing a massive season of batch cooking. I usually have about a dozen in the larder but buy extra, if I’m going through an obsessive cooking session.

I’m in Knowsley on the outskirts of Liverpool and we’ve got loads here.

As an aside. I saw a queue outside Tesco on Saturday which I haven’t seen since the beginning of lockdown.

Considering we’re in tier 3, everywhere is soo busy.

I bought some in Tesco in Nottinghamshire yesterday. I got tins but they had tubes too

No tubes in Sainsburys today, but they did have small tins. Hadn't realised it was a national shortage!

We went to Waitrose (South East) and were told that there was going to be a national shortage. Apparently a combination of a shit harvest and supplier issues.

None here in Cambridgeshire either. Annoyingly, I ran out for the first time in ages last week.

Probably all in my cupboard. I always end up buying one when I'm food shopping because I can never remember if I have any in or not. I get home and find I have loads!

Yep so hard to find here in my area (west midlands) all sold out when I tried to do an online Tesco shop and none in lidl, or Morrison's

None in Lidl or Waitrose here this weekend or last. Had to buy sundried tomato puree instead at great expense.

I’m beginning to suspect Mumsnet is responsible for the shortages. The shops will be cleared out of whatever comes up her as being difficult to find. I’m going for tinned sweet corn shortages next. 😁

Plenty in Asda Bearsden(Glasgow) today. Ponders future as a dealer of sweetcorn and tomato puree

My son’s been sent home from school to isolate which has scuppered my plans to hunt down some supplies of tomato purée
