I got married yesterday

I know none of you may really care. But I got married. Followed gov guidelines, wore the mask, had the small guest list and did it. I'm very happy

I’m getting married next year and I realise rules may be different then but can I just ask, were you allowed any music/a first dance at your venue?Also, what entertainment did you have if there was no music allowed? Sorry to hijack, just trying to get an idea of what to expect myself. Your cake looks great by the way!

As lovely as it would of been to have a big fancy party with lots of guests, I am glad it was just a few carefully selected loved ones who made it special. And didn't need to put on a big show and entertain almost strangers. Nearest and dearest was perfect.

We had a first dance and just played some music off our phones via a speaker. No dancing for the adults but the kids had a great time as they're only little and you can't stop little kids dancing.
