I was meant to be spending a 2nd night in a lovely comfy Premier Inn (in Cornwall) with yarn and crochet hooks and no teens asking what they can eat at midnight, before going to my Grandads for a roast dinner tomorrow.

Instead we checked out at 12.30 and am now driving to Hampshire because my niece has been taken into hospital so brother and SIL need to go back to her. When we finally get there I'll be going to SILs parents to sleep for a while before going home ( Berks )

I was attempting to Finnish a suit I was making for DH, I'm laid up ill with pancreatitis, on the mend, but weak as a kitten & bored as hell, so thought I'd attempt something useful. I managed to get some done, but realised my vision is too blurry right now to do anything fiddly & then preshrinking the fabric under hot steam press to recut the sleeves had me overheat so much that I seem to have passed out after lying down dizzy on the spare bed & woke up shivering at 4 am peed off that neither DD nor DH woke me to go back to bed. I woke DH to complain as I was upset, but turns out he did try but I was snarky & angry & I told him to fuck off
