How often do you replace your phone?

I'm getting a new phone after using an iPhone 6 for six years. People look at me as if I have two heads when I said I've had the same phone for six years. I buy mine outright as it's much cheaper than a contract.

When the old one becomes unusable for whatever reason, I also buy outright.

Usually every two years. I find they get annoying and buggy after that time.

Whenever I destroy it or leave it out in the rain or sleep on it and the screen turns black... 🙄

I have a blackberry. I wait until it won't work any more. The bonus is it does not have tracking software so I am safe.

I'm on a contract so every 2 years.

I get 18 month contracts then drop down to a cheap sim only deal for a couple of years then replace when it starts to slow down. So maybe every 4 years ?

When it goes wrong. And because I’m really careful with stuff my things usually last an embarrassingly long time. I’ve had an iPhone 6 that was reconditioned when I got it a few years ago but it’s still absolutely fine. I can’t think of anything I need it to do that it doesn’t 🤷‍♀️
