Evening snacks! Yes yes I no it is not a good thing, doesn't help the waistline and not great to be eating before bed so I'm told. However.... some evenings on the box there is nothing on but cooking, baking, restaurants etc and I admit hands up I get peckish.... I know the difference between a healthier option for a snack and a let's just say not so healthy snack ( chocolate!!) so my question is to all u what's your go to snack? The ones you have when choosing to be healthier and the ones u have when you just feel like it, throwing caution to the wind and having it just because you want it. Any "different" combinations... must tries...... avoids......favourites etc

Obvs looking for suggestions lol Grin

Just finished bf 4 month son, ravenous. 2 slices of Lidl malted bloomer, toasted, hot buttered, and a cup of tea. Watching Bake Off on catch up. They really cocked up brownies this week, didn’t they?!

I've just finished my early morning "snack" - actually a meal I try and save some calories for as I'm often awake and hungry at this time.. if I do sleep through, however, I bank those calories.

Dark rye sourdough, toasted and buttered whilst really hot so the butter melts into the bread, plus a half slice of strong mature cheddar (reduced fat if possible) plus strong hot cocoa made with skimmed milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and stevia. 😋

Sooooo glad I didn't wake up in the night and see these suggestions!! Marmite seems to be a favourite and I have to agree! @Supernova123 the brownies were a joke! Wouldn't have stopped me eating some tho!! 😂😂
