Best way to clean oven?

Sorry for boring topic...... it’s my turn to clean the oven.

Anyone got any tips or good products to use? The last one I used (forgotten the name) was a really strong chemical you leave in there for a few hours soaking but it hurt my hands a bit and I don’t really want to be using it again!

I paid £40 to get mine done. Worth every penny

The pink stuff is good, as is oven pride but as PP said pyrolytic oven is a the way to go. I will never go back!

I’ve got a £5 refer a friend code if anyone wants it.

How would you clean the glass bit?
Koh. It’s amazing stuff for all sorts of grime.

Cleaned my oven this morning with PINK paste. It's shiny again. That paste is magic- even oven glass came out sparkling!

Lakeland oven cleaner is fantastic.

@OnlyJudyCanJudgeMee I have that paste but wouldn’t it damage the glass given it’s abrasive? Or no sign of that at all?

Thisisnotnormal69, no, it didn't do any damage to mine.

Lakeland oven cleaner is fantastic, no smell at all .
There are a couple of different kits you can get
1 has oven cleaner , a brush ( to apply cleaner ) gloves and arm protector

The other has all of the above and oven shelf scours and a separate bottle of shelf cleaner and bags for the shelfs

One bottle of oven clean will do my oven twice .

Paint the cleaner on thickish go and have a brew and MN for a bit half a hr later use kitchen roll to wipe off all the grot .
no scrubbing needed.
Very ocasonaly I need to pain a second coat on a few areas but that's usually cos I was to stingy with it the 1st time.

It's great on glass too , it brought a very old Pyrex casserole bowl up like New.

do not use it on roasting tins or pans
