Sat next to him in a cafe yesterday... he was waving at baby DD so I got a good look at him, but can't for the life of me remember who he is. It is driving me mad! Please help!
British (for some reason I think he might be Scottish, but not sure), male, mostly TV actor rather than films, in dramas rather than comedies, not soaps (I don't watch them so he wouldn't have been familiar to me), slim face, attractive but not conventionally good looking or hunky, in his late 40s or early 50s. Think John Hannah or John Sim type (though he is not either of those!). I feel as if I have seen him play a police officer, but I have been googling police dramas and he hasn't appeared in any cast lists.
Aaargh! Help!
