Can anyone find me a winter coat for my daughter?

I’m trying to find a thick winter coat for my 3 year old. She’s quite tall and I like coats to cover bottoms so I want age 5-6. I don’t know whether I’m being really picky but while she’s little I’d like her to have one with pictures on. I feel she’s got years to wear black/navy/khaki and that’s what most of the shops seem to have.

I feel like I’ve looked on every online site I can think of. I liked a couple by JoJo Maman Bebe but they’re sold out in that size. Others that I think look quite nice look more like thin waterproof jackets with a fleece lining and she’s got one of them - I want a thick parka type coat for winter.

So I want, waterproof, no fur around the hood as I think it looks tatty quite quickly, thick, and some kind of design preferably in a bright, all over pattern. I’ll try to link to the two I like that are out of stock. Thank you!

I’ve found GAP have good warm winter coats for girls.

I wouldnjust get one of them in a smaller size. 5-6 will drown a 3 year old.

She had 4-5 last year aged 2 so will definitely fit in 5-6 this year.

Aren't the arms too long on 5-6?

My DD is 6 and I buy 5-6 but I always buy an A Dee Coat and the fur is detachable

Have you looked at John Lewis? Dd3 had a coat from there every year for about 5 years!

Next have some long warm winter coats.

Vertbaudet are usually good for super warm coats. Get a bigger size than usual though, they run a bit small.

Thanks everyone, I’ve looked at the websites of everyone’s suggestions and think I’ve narrowed it down to two. This one from Sainsbury’s:

tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/p/Pink-Bunny-Fleece-Lined-Padded-Coat-%281-6-Years%29/137138756-Pink?searchTerm=:newArrivals&searchProduct=

Or this one from Boden:

www.boden.co.uk/en-gb/cosy-waterproof-parka-dusky-rose-pink-bunny/sty-g2341-pnk?cat=C1_S13_G2

I prefer the Boden as it has an all over print plus the fur is detachable, but I didn’t really want to spend that much and the Sainsbury’s one is a lot cheaper! Ha ha!

Thanks for all the help Smile

I just got dd a Boden one with a strawberry pattern. It's gorgeous and bright, seems great quality. I usually buy from Marks or Next but couldn't resist this one.
